Eid Milad-un-Nabi or Mawlid al-Nabi al-Sharif is the birth day of final & best Prophet’s Mohammed (Peace be up on him).His was born in the month of Rabi’ al-awwal- the third month in the Islamic calendar & the very day was 12th Rabi’ al-awwal. He spread the Islam in Arabia as well as all over the world.He discover the peacefulness of Islam & describe how a man become a true Muslim.He live simple life & always helpful to other, by observing this quality many non Muslim accept Islam.If you recite his biography then you can understand all the greatness of him as well as Islam because he was the representative of Islam.He not only the Prophet of Islam or Muslim but also he was the Prophet or messenger of all humanity or any religion. The holy Quran which was verbally revealed by the Allah to the final Prophet Muhammad (Peace be up on him) through the archangel Gabriel (Jibril), gradually over a period of approximately 23 years, beginning on 22 December 609 CE, when he was 40, and concluding in 632, the year of his death.
In this day parents narrate stories of the Prophet’s life to their kids and the day is marked with public gatherings, with religious leaders making speeches about the life of the Prophet. The most important aspect of the day is to focus on the teachings of Prophet Mohammed (Peace be up on him). Families gather together and prepare a feast, which is then served to the guests and is also meant to be donated to the poor. Donating to charity is also considered an important aspect of the Eid Milad un Nabi. As it is commonly known as a Muslim culture so it is celebrated in most of the Muslim countries and in India as well. Apart from decorations and illuminations of mosques and houses at night, people also engage in singing salutations and songs in the praise of Prophet Mohammed (Peace be up on him).
